Seeing The Truth of Who We Are Clearly A Two-Part Series on Overcoming Self-Grasping

Day and night, we spontaneously think "I, I," grasping at a solid, independent self that seems to exist behind our name. Buddha explained, this distorted way of identifying ourselves is established through self-grasping ignorance —the root of all our stress, anxiety, disharmony, and daily problems. Because we instinctively believe this vividly appearing "I" is real, we spend our lives frantically serving, defending, and protecting a self that does not actually exist.

In this practical two-part series, explore Buddha’s liberating wisdom teachings on emptiness to uncover the true nature of reality and free your mind from the hallucinations that only yield suffering.

• Part 1: Unmasking the False Self (Nov 28) — Learn how to recognize the subtle delusion of self-grasping in daily life. Understand how mistaken awareness arises and how this mind exaggerates our importance and creates painful emotional reactions whenever our "I" feels threatened, insecure, or criticized.

• Part 2: Discovering Inner Freedom (Dec 12) — Learn analytical and placement meditation techniques to search for the self with wisdom. By discovering the unfindability of the inherently existent "I," you can dissolve your daily worries into the vast, peaceful space of ultimate truth and experience genuine, lasting peace of mind
