Hike & Heal Experience: Overflow

This month, it’s time to let our healing overflow.

As we head into the winter season, we’re gathering for a powerful morning of healing, reflection, prayer, and authentic community at Prayer Mountain—and this time, we’re taking what God has poured into us and pouring it back out.

Our November theme is Overflow : the truth that God comforts us so we can become comfort for others. Our healing was never meant to stop with us. So alongside our hike, we’re hosting a Winter Warmth Drive —collecting coats, jackets, blankets, hats, gloves, and socks to bless our neighbors facing the cold without shelter. Bring what you can to donate; every item goes to a local nonprofit serving those in need this winter. (Donation details and drop-off at check-in.)

Hike & Heal is more than a hike—it’s a safe space to gather, breathe, process life, and encounter God together in nature. Come as you are. No pressure, no perfection required.

Event Details

Location: Prayer Mountain — 5950 Eagle Ford Dr, Dallas, TX 75249

Hike begins at 7:45 AM!

Look for the Hike & Heal sign at the meetup spot.

What to Bring:

• Winter gear to donate – coats, blankets, gloves, hats, socks (new or gently used)

• Journal & Pen – We’ll reflect on scripture & personal growth

• Open Heart – Be ready to receive what God has for you

• Comfortable, but Modest Attire & Shoes – Dress for the weather (it’ll be cold—layer up!)

Come picture-ready! We’re celebrating this moment of healing, breakthrough, and giving back!

Please arrive by 7:00 AM; we begin promptly at 7:30 AM! We will park at the BACK of the church, meeting at the exit where the gravel begins. Look for the sign that says Hike & Heal Check In HERE! Bring your journal, a pen, your winter donations, and an open heart ready to receive God’s love and word.

Please sign the park waiver using THIS link ! In case of severe weather, the event may be rescheduled—you’ll receive a cancellation confirmation, if necessary, 2 hours before start. Dress warmly and come picture-ready! Feel free to bring water and snacks.
