About this event

You don't need a reason to laugh. You don't need to feel good first. You don't need any experience at all.

This is a free 30-minute laughter yoga session, live on Zoom, open to everyone. We breathe together, we laugh together — intentionally, playfully, and without a single joke required. Within minutes, something shifts. The week gets lighter. Strangers become familiar. You leave feeling like yourself again.

Sophie Clément is a certified Laughter Yoga Leader trained by Laughter Yoga International. She has been bringing these sessions to communities across the United States and around the world — from living rooms to hospital corridors, from yoga studios to senior homes. This session is her gift to anyone who needs it.

No mats. No equipment. No fitness level required. Just your phone or laptop, a quiet corner, and a willingness to show up.

Come as you are. That is the only rule.

Free · 30 minutes · Live on Zoom · All levels welcome

Warning!

Laughter Yoga is a safe and beneficial practice for most people. However, as it involves physical exertion and changes in internal pressure, it may not be suitable for individuals with certain health conditions. Please check the lists below.

• Any kind of hernia

• Heart disease with angina pain

• Persistent cough

• Severe backache

• Recent surgery (within 3 months)

• High blood pressure (uncontrolled)

• Epilepsy

• Glaucoma

• Pregnancy (please consult your doctor first)

• Severe mental health concerns (during acute phases)

Our Sober Space Commitment

We are dedicated to creating a safe and grounded environment for everyone to explore joy. To maintain the clarity and safety of our community workspace, all sessions are strictly sober. We ask that participants honor this commitment by arriving free from the influence of alcohol or other substances. This ensures the physical and emotional safety of the entire group.

Minor Discomforts After Laughter Yoga

Laughter Yoga is very safe. Occasionally you may notice one of these two mild reactions — both are normal and temporary.

💧 Mild headache or heaviness in the head Common and harmless. Ease off the effort, laugh more gently, and it passes. If you have high blood pressure or migraines, please let Sophie know before joining.

🌥️ Throat irritation or dry cough Also normal. Drink more water and avoid forcing your laughter. Laughing from the diaphragm rather than the throat prevents this entirely — Sophie guides you through this in every session.

Listed by Dance and Laugh Wellness (Wix Events), gathered by the Dallas events calendar.
